Course unit content

All health systems today face major challenges, both globally and locally, related to rising costs and the ability to meet the care needs of an aging population. The only viable solution is to improve the quality of care. To do this, all health systems need to have access to reliable and measurable data on the care that individuals receive. This is why the measurement of outcomes has become the essential node in the process of improving the quality of care, moreover it has been shown that some types of outcomes are sensitive and depend on nursing care.
