Learning outcomes of the course unit
The module is part of the Audiology The Integrated Course of Hearing 1 (1st year-1st semester of CdS in Technical Audiprotesiche) and has the objective of allowing the student to know and to understand the hearing loss and the essential elements and exams fundamental dell'Audiometria and dell'Impedenzometria. The student must acquire the ability to use knowledge and understanding in order to identify the audiological tests and interpret the diagnostic of patients with hearing loss.
Course contents summary
The first lessons illustrate the study of auditory function, subjective and objective. The liminal tonal audiometry is the first part, which is crucial for the classification of hearing loss. The research methods of the auditory threshold, masking the contralateral ear and proof of Weber are an integral part of the audiometric test. Assessment methods and criteria
