Learning outcomes of the course unit
To learn how emotions are triggered and are characterized, and what functions serve in the lives of animals and human beings. Relate basic cognitive processes, such as attention and memory, with different emotional states.
To learn how the human mind combines information from different sensory channels to perceive own’s own body, to control one’s movement, and to perceive and interpret the movements of other individuals.

Course contents summary
Elements of psychology of emotion. How to measure emotion. Emotion regulation. Emotion and sport.
Elements of multisensory perception and motor control.
Applications to the perceptual guide of movement.
Course contents
The problems of perception. From the psychophysical chain to the perception-action cycle. Senses and perceptual systems. Multisensory perception. Perceiving your body and controlling actions. Motor learning.
