ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND RENEWABLE SOURCES
Learning outcomes of the course unit
The course aims to provide evaluation criteria for environmental, energy and economic sustainability.
To follow the course with profit, basic knowledge of Physics is required.
Course contents summary
Energy scenarios. Efficiency and energy saving. Renewable energy sources.
Energy scenarios. Energy vectors and energy efficiency.
Energy certification of buildings: energy balance of the building, efficiency of facilities for the building, use of renewable sources.
Classroom exercises using specific software.
Assessment methods and criteria
The exam is based on an oral test that will focus on the topics discussed in the course and on the report presented. The correct and complete knowledge of the subject of examination and exposure property will be verified.
The vote shall be communicated immediately upon completion of the oral examination before its registration. Praise is given in case of achieving the highest score to which the disciplinary vocabulary is added.
Each student must perform the energy performance diagnosis of a building and must prepare a report that will be discussed during the assessment of learning.
