Learning outcomes of the course unit
The Guidance course in Parasitology is aimed at offering students the chance to explore opportunities following graduation, both within the specific context of Veterinary Parasitology and within the wider context of the profession.
Course contents summary
Course content includes guidance for accessing continuous professional development, job opportunities within the national veterinary services, implementation of control programmes for various vector-borne diseases and the application of the “One Health” concept.

Brief thesis and interview
The student will be asked to write a brief (1000 words) critique on the topic of their choice from among those presented during the course. The report will be discussed during a brief evaluation meeting.
