The course aims to provide knowledge and understanding (Dublin Descriptor I) of the key issues, technological and design solutions of computer science basic and its use in a scientific environment.
Attendance at lectures and laboratory activities of this teaching offers students this competence (II
Descriptor of Dublin): master the technologies and instruments needed for the laboratory activities.
In consideration of Descriptors III, IV, and V, the course has the explicit goal of giving students the independence to form their own opinions (in the design of computing equipments), communication and learning skills (ability in tracking the technologies, also by interacting with the main stakeholders).
