Integrated course unit module: LABORATORY ANALYSIS APPLIED TO SPORTS

Learning objectives

To provide information needed to understand the role of laboratory in the characterization of posyt-exercise pathologies and diabetes mellitus.

Prerequisites

Bases of biology, anatomy, biochemistry and physiology are required.

Course unit content

Besides proper recalls of general pathology and immunology, lectures will concern overexercise pathologies and exercise in the diabetic patient, together with the role of laboratory in these conditions.
