Learning objectives

The course aims to allow the student to know and understand the taxonomy, epidemiology and biological cycles of the major parasitic diseases of animals; In particular cattle, sheep, goats and pigs. In addition, the pathogenesis and clinical forms induced by host-parasitic interaction will be treated for elmines, protozoa and ectoparasites. Laboratory diagnosis will be of great importance. For this reason, the student will be able to apply the best and most appropriate parasitic diagnosis methods through lessons and wet laboratories. The course aims to provide the student with all the tools needed to gain knowledge of the material to be able to manage parasitic diseases within the company's management.
