Teaching methods

Introduction to optics and electromagnetism, experiments of laboratory, discussion of experimental results, discussion of written exercises.

Assessment methods and criteria

The exam requires the preliminary submission of the reports on the experiences made during the course and consists of a practical test and an oral test.
It requires the discussion of the issues raised in the course, in particular the subject matter of the practical test. It requires the ability to comment critically on the submitted reports, concerning the experiments carried out during the course.
It evaluates the submission of reports [20%], the practical test carried out (as evidence of autonomy in the conduct of an experiment) [20%], thoroughness of the preparation, critical sense and ownership of language [60%].
