Learning outcomes of the course unit
Upon completion of the course, the student will know and understand the bases of an historical perspective in medicine and will be able to apply an
history-based approach to examples of diseases or treatments.

- A main character: Rudolf Virchow
- The 20th century: the molecular medicine, the impact of globalization, the rise and downfall of the universalistic systems
- From the "dream" to the "tiramny" of health
