INTERNSHIP I YEAR
Learning outcomes of the course unit
The student during the first semester is guided by the supervisor in the observation of normal movement patterns in the child, in the adult and in the elderly, identifying their characteristics which were learnt during the theoretical lessons.
During the second semester the student will be introduced to all the patient handling, positioning and postural techniques. Furthermore the classic massage techniques and the usage of electro therapies machines are taught.
The internship experience follows Dublin descriptors criteria.(1°,2°,3°).
Course contents summary
To learn the ability to observe the motor behaviour of the baby, of the adult and of the senior.
-To learn to carry out the correct handling to move the patient and the ability to do a safe transfer. - -To learn the therapeutic massage and to utilize the physical agents.

Student's Practical training is made in :kider garden,child school, nursing homes, rehabilitation departements,under Universiy of Parma approval.The student is guided in his internship by a physical therapist Tutor that will give a student evaluation according to Dublin descriptors :1°,2°,3°.
Assessment methods and criteria
Practical and written text aimed to verify the acquisition and the ability to use the knowledge and the skills learned during the training, according with 2°,3°,4° Dublin descriptors.
