Learning outcomes of the course unit
The aim of the course is that of supplying the student with the knowledge and the ability to understand signs and symptoms of the main pediatric pathologies, with a particular application to the clinical conditions with a physiotherapical concern. At the end of the course the student will be able to collaborate with other professional figures in order to establish a rehabilitation plan.
Course contents summary
The first part of the course will treat the child’s growth and development, the anamnesis gathering and the objective examination of the patient during his/her pediatric age. The second part will deal with the main pediatric pathologies with a particular attention to those where a rehabilitation treatment is indicated.

The course will be carried out through formal lessons with the help of a large number of images and Power Point presentations.
Assessment methods and criteria
The learning test consists of an oral examination which permits to evaluate the theoretical knowledge learning and the understanding of the pathological conditions of childhood.
