Learning outcomes of the course unit
By the end of the course, students will be able to produce a written paper summarising the set text in French, following the method illustrated during the course.
Good knowledge of French.
Course contents summary
Analysis and summary of a written text. Starting from an extremely varied corpus (newspaper articles, official speeches, advertising, manuals, etc.), students will learn to evince the crucial thematic, descriptive, declarative and argumentative points of a written text, in order to be able to provide a synthesis or summary of the text at a later time.
Students are also required to follow the exercises set by language associates and specialists during both semesters.
