The student will acquire the knowledge and comprehension of the following topics:
-the molecular and cellular bases of the disease.
-the translational research from the biology to the clinic.
-the physio-pathological basis of the most important disease in the haematology, oncology and infection field.
During the course there are illustrated the most frequent diseases in the haematology caused by radiation.
- anemia, piastrinopenia and leucopenia.
- Acute leukemia
- breast cancer, lung cancer, gastro-intestinal cancer, prostate cancer and ovarian cancer.
- pulmonary tuberculosis.
In order to verify the learning, the student will be evaluated upon an oral test based on two parts:
- 2 questions to verify the knowledge of the subject matter.
- 1 question to go into details of the topic.
