Learning outcomes of the course unit
This is the general course of Internal Medicine, the objective of which is the knowledge of the main clinical aspects of Inernal Medicine-related diseases (cardiovasular, renal, endocrino-metabolic, neurological), in an effort to allow student to develop a good and systematic clinical approach to the patient with cardiovascular diseases problems in the context of the global field of Internal Medicine, including knowledge of laboratory parameters and diagnostic tools and procedures, diagnosis-making and therapy-managing.

Teaching will include the general, clinical, diagnostic (instrumental and laboratory), and therapeutical aspects of Internal Medicine,including the diseases of kidney,cardiovascular system, endocrine glands, metabolism and nervous system.

Assessment methods and criteria
The assessment of the achievement of the objectives of the course consists of an oral examination. Through questions about the contents of the course will be determined whether the student has achieved the goal of knowledge and understanding of the content. Through questions regarding prevention strategies and preparation of a care plan will be determined whether the student has achieved the aim of translating the acquired knowledge into clinical practice.
