At the end of the course the student knows the basics to the anatomical basis of nursing protocols
Applying knowledge and understanding
At the end of the course the student knows and uses the anatomical basis nursing practices such as: understanding of blood tests, insertion of naso-gastric probes and catheters
At the end of the course the student is able to use the anatomical bases to carry out practical nursing distinguishing them according to the physical characteristics of the patients and pathologies.
At the end of the course the student must use technical terminology
At the end of the course the student must be able to summarize a brief technical text
Course contents summary
Introduction to anatomy, plans Section
bones of the skull, axial skeleton, appendicular skeleton
joints and muscles of the trunk.
heart and major vessels of the arterial and venous circulation
Lymphatic system: primary organs (spleen and thymus), secondary (lymph nodes: structure and principal locations)
oral cavity, esophagus, stomach, intestines and associated glands, parietal and visceral peritoneum
Respiratory system: upper airways, bronchi and lungs, pleura.
Urinary system: kidneys, ureters, bladder, urethra.
Genital apparatus: gonads and their endocrine function, reproductive tract, accessory glands.
Central and peripheral nervous system: brain, spinal cord, reflex arc.
Autonomic nervous system: overview of structure and function of the vegetable-and parasympathetic ganglia. Cranial nerves (list). Functions of the vagus nerves and trigeminal.
Endocrine System: localization and functions of the hypothalamus, pituitary, thyroid, parathyroid, thymus, adrenal glands
