The module of Occupational Ergonomics is a part of the integrated Course of Science of Risk Prevention in the Workplaces I. The module aims to provide students a knowledge and understanding on legislation on safety, health and protection in the workplace and ability to use the knowledge and understanding gained in identyfing occupational risk in the workplaces.
The first part of the module concerns legislation on safety, health and protection in the workplace, work related diseases, manual handling, manual handling of patients, work-related stress. The last part is on organization of shift and night work; risk of upper limb biomechanical overload, repetitive movements; Mechanical vibrations; work office and atypical works.
