Learning objectives

The course aims to provide useful methodologies for the study of film history. The main goal is to help the students in improving their abilities for the comprehension and the analysis of movies, applying their knowledge and refining their communicative skills.

Teaching methods

During the lectures the contents of the course will be deeply discussed and some movies will be presented and projected. The lectures will be planned to promote an interaction with the students and a confrontation on the main topics.

Assessment methods and criteria

The final exam will be oral. Students’ ability in understanding and learning, and their communicative skills will be tested during the exam and their evaluation will refer to the quality of these standards.
