CIVIL PROCEDURE LAW
Learning outcomes of the course unit
Acquiring good knowledge and understanding of the essentials of Italian law of civil procedure.
Prerequisites
Students will be admitted to the exam only if they have previously passed Institutions of Private Law and Institutions of Roman Law exams.
Course contents summary
The course deals with the essentials of the Italian law of civil procedure. In details, the following topics will be covered: Civil disputes resolution, lawsuits and doctrine of res judicata; general provisions of the Italian Code of Civil Procedure; ordinary trial by the tribunal; class actions; appeal and other remedies against the judgments; enforcement orders and related remedies; general provisions of enforcement; summary judgments; provisional and interim measures; arbitration proceedings.
