Student registry office
The Student registry office deals with the administrative part of student careers (admission/enrolment, exams registration, certificates, transfer requests, requests for admission to final examinations, etc.). All Student registry offices follow the same timetable.

The Careers counselling office is open to assist both high-school and postgraduate students in choosing the best faculty according to their wishes and abilities or in making decisions about their professional career.
The office provides information about the courses offered by the University of Parma, as well as about all the other available services. It also provides guides and brochures about all Faculties. It organises individual interviews by appointment, as well as visits to the Faculties. It cooperates with the faculties lecturers to organize careers counselling meetings at high schools. It also works with high schools for the organization of careers counselling activities.
Psychological counseling office
In May 2013 the University of Parma has set up the "Psychological counseling office", for students, future students, graduates, university staff (both teachers and administrative staff) and their families.
The counseling is a short-term path, based on the building of a helping relationship aimed at reorganizing the resources of the person and developing coping strategies for difficult situations. It consists of individual or group interviews led by psychologists trained in this area.
The "Psychological counseling office" of the University, in which five psychologists psychotherapists work, offers free counseling guidance, personal counseling and group counseling.

Postgraduate Careers counselling office

This office provides graduates with information on postgraduate degrees and the related job opportunities. It draws up and manages companies and graduates’ databases, provides individual and group counselling, organizes seminars on curricula writing techniques and on how to manage job interviews. It organises short courses and training sessions for students with public and private companies.
Graduate Careers Counselling Service

Students, undergraduates, and graduates of the University of Parma can gain practical experience in public and private companies in several ways:
- if the candidate has already found a Company or an Institution in which to do an internship, he/she can contact the Graduate careers counselling office, which will provide the necessary documents (also available on-line), and will deal with the administrative procedures and monitoring aspects of the internship;
- as part of the job orientation process, the candidate's information is entered in a database which is specifically updated to meet companies' requests for internships.
At the same time, this office can actually supply companies looking for new employees with the candidate's CV and personal profile including his / her aspirations, aptitudes, as well as his / her personal characteristics and skills.
Peer tutor
Italian Law no. 17 of 1999 envisages the institutional role of Peer Tutor, students who choose to assist disabled students enrolled at the University.
Matriculated students who fulfil the requirements envisaged in the call for applications may apply. This position involves the pairing of a student-tutor with a study companion with a certified disability. The role consists of assisting the tutee inside the University according to his/her course schedule and different situations of university life. The call for applications for the position – which envisages a maximum of 150 paid hours – is published at the end of the year and can be consulted on the website http://www.unipr.it/contributi-diritto-allo-studio.
The statement of availability is made jointly and the selection of suitable candidates, without prejudice to the criteria established for admission, is made by the Committee chaired by the Rector’s Delegate.
In any case the position of assisting students with disabilities is undertaken after a specific training course has been completed.
