ACCOMMODATION
Parma is a medium-sized city with various accommodation opportunities located in different areas.
Depending on the length of your stay, your budget and personal requirements, you can choose what is the best solution for you: you can find accommodation in private flats shared with other students, residencial halls in agreement with the University of Parma or dormitories.
The University of Parma does not own any colleges or residence halls to host Exchange students or International Degree-seeking students. However, we can help you find a place to stay thanks to our Welcome Office: this service provides information and support for both Italian and international students and for visiting professors as regards their arrival in Italy and their stay in Parma.

ER.GO. Accommodation Services
ER.GO, the Regional Authority for the Right to Higher Education in Emilia Romagna provides student housing with over 600 rooms in 6 halls of residence located in different areas of Parma, usually at a short distance from the University departments.
Every year, ER.GO. publishes an announcement of selection for accommodation for degree-seeking students (usually in July-August). Foreign students have equal opportunities to apply for an accommodation, provided they submit the necessary documentation and meet the specific economic and educational requirements indicated in the announcement.
Accommodation facilities which have not been assigned and are therefore left vacant can be available to incoming students, trainees and researchers temporarily studying and/or working in Parma. You can check for vacant rooms in the "vacancies board" of the halls of residence called "Borsino" of the "Sportello Unico Casa" (ER.GO. Housing Office), through which you can also see real-time availability, prices and features and make an online reservation.
