Exchange students

Welcome to the Web Pages of the Student Exchange Programmes of the University of Parma

Exchange students are students who study at our University for one semester or one academic year without taking a qualification here.
You can be considered as an exchange student if there is a valid student exchange programme between your home university and the University of Parma in the appropriate subject area and your institution nominates you to take part.
Exchange agreements between European (EU) countries are governed by the Socrates/Erasmus programme. We also have exchange agreements with partner institutions in the United States of America.
Exchange Students pay their tuition fees to their home institution and do not pay tuition fees here.
Your home institution's International or Erasmus Office can tell you if they have an exchange programme with us and advise you how to apply for nomination.
