Università degli Studi di Parma, il mondo che ti aspetta

Accommodation

Parma is a medium-sized city with accommodation opportunities in several neighbourhoods.

The University and the Fondazione Pier Giorgio Falciola established the Sportello Università Casa (University Accommodation Office) in order to support students looking for an accommodation. The aim of this non-profit, university-managed office is to develop an accommodation management activity and to mediate between estate owners and students looking for an accommodation, in order to increase both parties' satisfaction. For Parma and other cities where Universities influence city life, the establishment of such an initiative executes a right-to-education policy globally considering the students' various needs.

There is a good deal of reasons for applying the University Accommodation Office:

  • Possibility of choice
  • Reliable staff
  • Flat conditions guaranteed
  • Individual and short-term tenancy agreements
  • And everything dealing with a good flat performance.

ER.GO manages several flats and 6 university residences located in different areas of the city. A call for accommodation for regularly-enrolled students is published every year, usually in July-August. Foreign students have equal opportunities to apply for an accommodation. No documents required at the first stage. Non-E.U. students coming from particularly disadvantaged countries, if considered as eligible for enrolment, are required to present documents from the Italian Embassy or Consulate in their Country of residence certifying that the student does not belong to a high-income, high-class family (see ER.GO call for accommodation).
